Advertiser and referral disclosure

Springfield Home Guide is an independent referral and information service. We are not a well driller, septic installer, waste hauler or dumpster company and do not perform any work. Providers we refer you to are independent businesses and may pay us for referrals. Always confirm a provider’s license and insurance yourself.

How referral fees work

An independent web publisher runs this site. A provider that receives your request through the site may pay a referral fee to Springfield Home Guide. The guides and request form cost you nothing. You are never obligated to hire a provider.

Referral partners are still being confirmed. Submitting a request does not mean that a provider has agreed to receive it or that a referral is available. A person reviews every request by hand and will tell you if no suitable provider is available.

Content stays independent

No provider can pay to change what the guides say. A referral fee is not a guarantee of availability, price, or quality. Our utility guides cover electric and internet information only. We do not accept utility requests.

How providers are chosen and checked

We review your requested service, location, and project details by hand. A provider must agree to receive referrals before your request is shared. With your consent, we share it with one independent provider for that service. We never sell your details to lead lists.

Before referring to a well driller, we check their Missouri DNR well installation contractor permit. For septic installers, we check county certification and Missouri DHSS registration. Once a provider is signed, we show the provider’s permit number with a link to the official record.

These checks do not replace your own review. Confirm the provider’s license and insurance yourself before hiring. We do not promise a match, multiple quotes, a callback, a response time, availability, or a price.

We record the exact consent text version and timestamp with your request. We send one confirmation email per request, with no marketing texts or automated calls.
